Directions for use of the article Magnetrans forte 150 mg Hartkapseln Important information (compulsory information): Magnetrans forte 150 mg hard capsules. Active substance: Heavy magnesium oxide. Indications: In cases of proven magnesium deficiency when it is the cause of disturbances in muscle activity (neuromuscular disorders, calf cramps). What is Magnetrans forte and what is it used for? Magnetrans forte is a mineral preparation. It is used in cases of proven magnesium deficiency when it is the cause of muscle activity disorders (neuromuscular disorders, calf cramps). What should you be aware of before taking Magnetrans forte? Magnetrans forte must NICHT not be taken if you are allergic to magnesium oxide or any of the other ingredients of the medicine. It must also not be taken if you have severe kidney dysfunction, myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), a tendency to certain kidney stones, AV-block and significant water and salt loss (exsiccosis). You should also observe precautions if you have mild to moderate kidney dysfunction or a tendency to form infected kidney stones. Inform your doctor or pharmacist about other medicines used, as interactions may occur. Dosage and directions for use: Adolescents and adults should take 1 capsule in the morning and 1 in the evening. The capsule should be taken with liquid. The NICHT duration of use depends on the type of complaint and/or duration of th AV-e disease and is determined by the doctor. Contraindications: Magnetrans forte must not be taken in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, impaired kidney function, myasthenia gravis, tendency to certain kidney stones, AV-block and dehydration.
