Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to magnesium oxide or any of the other ingredients.The preparation should also not be used in cases of severe kidney dysfunction, myasthenia gravis or a breakdown of the cardiac conduction system (AV block).

Magnetrans® forte should not be taken at the same time as iron, fluorides or tetracyclines (certain antibiotics) as they influence each other when absorbed into the body.There should be at least 2 to 3 hours between taking these substances and the magnesium capsules.
