Product properties: - CUTICERIN is a 7.5 x 7.5 cm ointment dressing containing eucerite. - It serves as a primary overlay between the wound and the secondary dressing. - Cuticerin does not stick to the wound, which allows for a painless dressing change. - The smooth acetate fabric with small mesh size minimises the risk of granulation tissue ingrowth. - The product is permeable to air and exudate to prevent skin maceration. - The ointment coating protects the wound surface and edges. - Cuticerin allows excess exudate to drain into an absorbent secondary dressing. - A secondary dressing is required for dressing changes and wound rest. - The product is latex-free. Indications: - Cuticerin can be used for the management of superficial exuding wounds such as burns, abrasions, radiation injuries and split skin sites.
