Cuticerin is an ointment compress containing Eucerit that serves as a primary dressing between the wound and the secondary dressing.The ointment compress does not stick to the wound, which allows for painless dressing changes and ensures that the wound remains undisturbed.The ointment coating protects both the wound surface and the wound edges.Excess exudate can drain into an absorbent secondary dressing.The smooth acetate fabric with its defined, small mesh size reduces the risk of ingrowth of granulation tissue.

Cuticerin can be used to treat superficial, exuding wounds such as burns and abrasions, radiation damage and split-thickness skin donor sites.
