Cuticerin is an ointment compress that was specially developed for wound care.It serves as a primary pad between the wound and a secondary dressing.The compress is coated with an ointment containing Eucerit, which ensures that it does not stick to the wound.This enables a painless dressing change and the wound remains undisturbed.The ointment coating also protects the wound surface and edges.Excess exudate can drain through the compress into an absorbent secondary dressing.The smooth acetate fabric with its defined, small mesh size minimizes the risk of ingrowth of granulation tissue.

The ointment compress is permeable to air and exudate, which reduces the risk of skin maceration.The smooth, close-meshed surface protects the granulation and epithelial tissue.The ointment coating additionally protects the wound surface and edges.Cuticerin enables atraumatic dressing changes and ensures undisturbed wound rest.A secondary dressing is required for use, which can be selected depending on the amount of exudate, for example absorbent compresses or film dressings.The formulation is latex-free.
