Directions for use of the article Dermatop Basiscreme: Dermatop Base Cream is a corticoid-free cream for stressed skin in need of care. The skin fulfils a variety of tasks, such as protection against mechanical, chemical and physical influences. It consists of different layers, including the hypodermis, the dermis and the epidermis. The hypodermis is a loose, slidable connective tissue that acts as a fluid mantle, insulating the skin from the inside and shielding it from the outside. The dermis forms the supporting structure of the skin and consists of fibrous tissues that make the skin tear-resistant and allow it to adapt to movement. The epidermis is the thinnest layer of skin and contains keratinised cells that are constantly renewed. Sebaceous gland and sweat secretions protect the skin from bacteria, viruses and fungi. Dermatop base cream helps stressed skin in need of care to fulfil its natural tasks. It is mainly used after skin diseases have subsided and can also be used for severely stressed skin, e.g. after the use of chemicals or after excessive sun exposure. The cream contains purified water, thin paraffin, octyldodecanol, stearyl alcohol, hexadecan-1-ol, polysorbate 60, tetradecan-1-ol, sorbitan stearate and benzyl alcohol.
