Aspirin Complex is a granulate for the preparation of a suspension for oral use. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of swelling of the mucous membranes of the nose and sinuses in the common cold. The medicine contains the active ingredients acetylsalicylic acid and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. It provides effective help for cold symptoms such as a blocked nose, runny nose, scratchy throat, fever and aching limbs. Aspirin Complex has an analgesic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and decongestant effect on the nose and sinuses. It is suitable for adults and adolescents aged 16 and over. The recommended dosage is 1-2 sachets every 4-8 hours, up to a maximum of 6 sachets per day. The granules should be dissolved in water and drunk completely. The duration of use should not exceed 3 days. However, some precautions should be observed. The medicine contains sucrose (sugar) and should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid, pseudoephedrine, salicylates or other ingredients. Use is not recommended in certain pre-existing conditions such as asthma, gastrointestinal ulcers, heart disease, increased bleeding tendency, liver or kidney failure, and during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Side effects may occur, such as gastrointestinal complaints, insomnia, skin reactions, shortness of breath, high blood pressure and urinary retention.
