Nicorette TX Patch 25 mg is used to treat tobacco dependence by relieving withdrawal symptoms. It is a tobacco cessation product that can be used as monotherapy or in combination with other Nicorette dosage forms. The patch is applied to clean, dry and uninjured areas of skin on the upper body, upper arm or hip. It should remain on the skin for 16 hours and be removed before going to bed. The recommended duration of treatment is 12 weeks, with the dosage adjusted to the smoker's tobacco dependence. It is important not to exceed the maximum daily dose of 64 mg of nicotine. Side effects may occur, so you should read the package leaflet or consult a doctor or pharmacist. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date. An overdose may cause symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, dizziness and a drop in blood pressure.
