I've had really bad digestive problems for years. No amount of fibre-rich food or endless exercise helps. I've already adjusted the amount I drink, but unfortunately that wasn't the problem either. It's not easy to talk about this problem, somehow you feel ashamed! I have very solid and dry bowel movements. They sometimes come out in small balls or other "sharp-edged" shapes. The path in the bowel is then very easy to follow and it also hurts - sometimes less, sometimes more. If it gets really bad, colic is inevitable, with loud moaning and sometimes even tears. I'm not telling you anything here that I haven't experienced. You can believe me, I really suffer from it. I have been taking lactulose for years, sometimes from one company, sometimes from another. Then I need something else to take for months, the lactulose is too sweet for me, you can only tolerate this penetrating sweetness for a certain time. I am currently taking this product, LACTULOSE AbZ 66.7 g/100 ml syrup, and I am very happy with it. Unfortunately, I have to take a little more than prescribed. In return, I reduce it during the week and indulge in the "relief" at the weekend. At first I thought that this syrup wasn't as sweet as the others. Of course, this could also be a misinterpretation on my part, as I took something else for a few months that didn't help as well. If you are looking for something for a soft bowel movement without tears & colic, this is the right medicine for you!
