Information for use with the article Magnesium Verla N Konzentrat: Active substance: magnesium bis(hydrogen aspartate). Indications: For the treatment of magnesium deficiency states requiring therapy which do not require injection/infusion; for magnesium deficiency if it is the cause of disturbances in muscle activity (neuromuscular disorders, calf cramps). Note: Contains sucrose (sugar) (approx. 0.25 BE) and lactose (in flavour). Note from our pharmacists: In general, we are happy to supply you with our products in household quantities with a maximum of 15 packs per quarter. In the context of drug safety, we reserve the right to set separate maximum quantities for certain medicines. This applies in particular to products that are only used for a short time or have an increased potential for overdose. Indications: - Treatment of magnesium deficiency states requiring therapy. - Neuromuscular disorders caused by magnesium deficiency. Dosage and directions for use: Children 1-3 years: 1 sachet 1 time daily before meal Children 4-11 years: 1 sachet 1-2 times daily before meal Adolescents 12 years and over and adults: 1 sachet 1-3 times daily before meal The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist. Route of administration: Dissolve the medicine in half a glass of water, tea or fruit juice and take. Contraindications: - Hypersensitivity to the ingredients - Severely impaired renal function - Infants under 1 year of age Side effects: - Soft stools - Diarrhoea Composition: - Active substance: magnesium bis(hydrogen aspartate) dihydrate (1622.69 mg). - Excipients: riboflavin, sucrose, citric acid, silicon dioxide, highly dispersed, saccharin sodium, mandarin flavouring, lactose. Important information: - Caution in case of allergy to the sweetener saccharin (E-number E954)! - Caution in case of intolerance to lactose or sucrose. - Do not use the medicinal product for more than 8 hours after opening/preparation.
