Summary: Allergodil acute nasal spray is an anti-allergy medicine and contains the active substance azelastine hydrochloride. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) in adults, adolescents and children aged 6 years and over. The nasal spray should be used twice daily, one spray per nostril. The application is carried out with the head in an upright position. The duration of use depends on the type, severity and course of the symptoms. The medicine should be stored at room temperature and should not be used for longer than 6 months after opening. Side effects may include irritation of the nose, taste disorders and nosebleeds. The medicine should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients or in children under 6 years of age. Pregnant women should consult their doctor before using the medicine. Allergodil acute nasal spray is available in household quantities and can be purchased up to 15 times per quarter.
