Cordes BPO 10% Gel is a medicinal product for the treatment of acne vulgaris, especially on the chest and back and in patients who do not respond to lower concentrations of benzoyl peroxide. It contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide. Certain precautions should be observed before use, such as avoiding contact with mucous membranes or eyes. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use. Slight skin irritation may occur during application. If these persist for more than 5 days or intensify, the medicine should be discontinued and medical advice sought. Cordes BPO 10% Gel should not be applied to healthy skin. The duration of application depends on the type of symptoms and/or the course of the disease. Side effects may include local irritation such as drying, scaling, burning, itching and reddening of the skin. Cordes BPO 10% gel should be stored in a cool place and out of reach of children.
