Directions for use of the article Kohle Hevert: Coal Hevert is a medicine in tablet form containing the active substance medicinal coal in a dosage of 250 mg. It is used to treat diarrhoea and poisoning caused by food, heavy metals and medicines. However, the tablets are not suitable for poisoning by pesticides. The recommended dosage for adults for diarrhoea is 2-4 tablets 3-4 times a day, dissolved in plenty of liquid. Children should take half of this dose. In cases of poisoning, the dose can be safely increased up to 50 tablets, which should be taken together with a saline laxative. The duration of use for diarrhoea should not exceed 2-3 days. If the treatment does not bring improvement after 3 days, a doctor should be consulted. Important information: - The medicine must not be used after the expiry date. - It should be stored at temperatures below 25°C and protected from moisture. - The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children. There are no known side effects when taking Coal Hevert in the recommended doses. However, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if any symptoms occur during treatment. Pregnant and breastfeeding women can use the medicinal product without restrictions. In addition to the active substance medicinal coal, the tablets also contain bentonite and maize starch as excipients.
