Magnesium Verla N Coated Tablets are enteric-coated tablets used for the treatment of magnesium deficiency requiring therapy. They contain the active ingredients magnesium citrate and magnesium bis(hydrogen-L-glutamate). Magnesium plays an important role in the function of muscles and nerve cells in the body. A deficiency of magnesium can lead to various symptoms such as calf cramps, muscle tension and concentration problems. The dosage of Magnesium Verla N Coated Tablets depends on the individual need and the severity of the magnesium deficiency. As a rule, it is recommended to take 1-3 tablets 3 times a day. The tablets should be taken unchewed with some liquid before a meal. Long-term therapy with Magnesium Verla is possible with normal kidney function, as excess magnesium is usually excreted by the kidneys. The use of Magnesium Verla N Coated Tablets is suitable for people who cannot take in enough magnesium with food, who have an increased need for magnesium or who have an impaired absorption of magnesium. Magnesium Verla N Coated Tablets can be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding. However, it may be contraindicated in the case of special health conditions, such as severe renal dysfunction or hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the medicinal product.
