Clotrimazole AL 200 vaginal tablets are used to treat fungal infections of the vagina. The active substance clotrimazole inhibits the growth and reproduction of fungal cells and some bacteria. The medicine is used for discharge caused by fungi (mostly Candida), vaginal inflammation caused by fungi and superinfections with clotrimazole-sensitive bacteria. The recommended dosage is 1 vaginal tablet 1 time daily in the evening for 3 consecutive days, inserted as deeply as possible into the vagina. The duration of use is 3 days. If the vagina is dry, the vaginal tablet may not dissolve completely. In this case, the treatment should be carried out with a vaginal cream. The medicine must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients. In children and adolescents under 18 years of age, the medicinal product should only be used after consultation with a doctor or under medical supervision.
