Summary: Mepilex Lite foam dressing is a thin-walled dressing for low exuding acute and chronic wounds. With Safetac adhesive technology, the dressing minimises pain and trauma at dressing changes. It is very soft and conformable. Mepilex Lite has also been tested in clinical trials to minimise skin reactions from radiation treatments, improving the quality of life of cancer patients. The dressing is virtually painless and atraumatic during change. It is suitable for low exuding wounds and can be customised. With Safetac technology, there is a minimised risk of injury to the wound or surrounding skin. Mepilex Lite can also be used on difficult body areas and allows for less painful dressing changes. It is recommended for use in combination with Tubifast fixation. The dressing is suitable for low exuding and superficial wounds such as diabetic feet, radiation sequelae and burns. (955 characters)
