Information for use of the article Biotin-ratiopharm 5 mg tablets: - Indications: Prevention and treatment of biotin deficiency, therapy of biotin deficiency states in biotin-dependent multiple carboxylase deficiency. - Dosage: 1/2-1 tablet daily for the prevention and treatment of deficiency states, 1-2 tablets daily for the therapy of multiple carboxylase deficiency. - Consumation: Take unchewed with sufficient liquid. - Mode of action: Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin involved in many biochemical processes in the body. - Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the ingredients. - Side effects: Allergic hypersensitivity of the skin. - Composition: Each tablet contains 5 mg biotin and other excipients. - Important information: Caution in case of intolerance to lactose. - Storage: Keep medicines out of the reach of children, do not use after the expiry date. - Manufacturer: ratiopharm GmbH, Graf-Arco-Straße 3, 89079 Ulm.
