Instructions for use of the article Octeniderm skin antiseptic colourless liquid: Octeniderm colourless is used for skin disinfection before surgical procedures, catheterisation of blood vessels, blood and liquor sampling, injections, punctures, excisions, cannulation, biopsies and suture care. It can also be used for hygienic and surgical hand disinfection when no special hand disinfectant is available. The medicinally active ingredients 1-propanol, 2-propanol and octenidine dihydrochloride are effective against bacteria, fungi and many viruses. The efficacy against viruses includes enveloped viruses. Octeniderm skin antiseptic colourless provides protection against germs for up to 48 hours. It has a broad spectrum of action and a rapid onset of action. Octeniderm Skin Antiseptic Colourless is antiseptic and colourless. It is manufactured by Schülke & Mayr GmbH.
