Instructions for use for DISPATENOL Eye drops, 3X10 ml

Dispatenol eye drops are used for the treatment of dehydration of the cornea and conjunctiva due to tear secretion disorders as well as in cases of insufficient eyelid closure. They contain the active ingredients dexpanthenol and poly(vinyl alcohol). The drops should be used up to six times a day. After dropping the drops, the eyes should be closed for a short time and light pressure applied to the tear duct. The medicine can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding as there are no known risks. Possible side effects are rare and should be discussed with a doctor. The drops should be protected from heat and used within four weeks after opening. Soft contact lenses should be removed before use and only reinserted after 15 minutes.
