Do you want to stop smoking?The NICOTINELL 24-hour patch is ideal as a quitting aid for regular smokers.The 24-hour patch ensures a continuous supply of nicotine and thus relieves the urge to smoke around the clock - even at night.Five of the withdrawal symptoms during smoking cessation are relieved: craving to smoke, inner restlessness, increased appetite, irritability and problems concentrating.This significantly increases the chances of successfully quitting smoking.A special plus is the discreet application: the plaster only needs to be changed once a day.

Important note: The NICOTINELL 24-hour patch is only suitable for immediate smoking cessation.Smoking should be stopped completely during therapy.The average duration of patch therapy with NICOTINELL 24-hour patch is 9-12 weeks.The effectiveness of the patch and thus the nicotine level in the blood are gradually reduced until complete withdrawal is achieved.

Application

Therapy scheme for moderate/light smokers: If your previous daily cigarette consumption has been less than 20 cigarettes, start with the present patch strength 2 (medium) for a period of 3-4 weeks.Continue with the current plaster strength 2 (medium) for a period of 3-4 weeks.Finish off with plaster strength 3 (light) over a period of 3-4 weeks.

Therapy regimen for heavy smokers: If your previous daily cigarette consumption has been more than 20 cigarettes, start with patch strength 1 (heavy) for a period of 3-4 weeks.Continue with the current plaster strength 2 (medium) for a period of 3-4 weeks.Finish off with plaster strength 3 (light) over a period of 3-4 weeks.

Tips for using NICOTINELL 24-hour plaster: Apply 1 plaster daily for 24 hours (if possible in the morning after getting up and after showering).After removing the protective film, stick the patch on a healthy, hairless, dry and clean (no lotion, alcohol or ointment residue, etc.) area of skin, preferably on the inside or outside of the upper arm.Press the patch for approx. 10-20 seconds and smooth the edges of the nicotine patch outwards to ensure a good grip.Change the place where you stick it on every day - next to the upper arm, for example, are suitable.B. also the shoulder area or the upper hip.Never wear two patches at the same time.Please read the package leaflet carefully before use.
