Kytta® Odor Neutral Cream contains comfrey root fluid extract as the active ingredient.100 g of the cream contains 35.0 g of comfrey root, fluid extract (1:2) with ethanol 60% by volume.The other ingredients are 2-phenoxyethanol-[butyl, ethyl, methyl, (2-methylpropyl), propyl] (4-hydroxybenzoate), sodium hydroxide, PPG-1-PEG-9 lauryl glycol ether, cetostearyl alcohol, glycerol monostearate, sodium dodecyl sulfate, peanut oil and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.The product must not be used on children under 12 years.It should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.

Dosage

Recommended use of Kytta® Odorless Cream: Apply the cream to the affected area and massage in gently.If there is no improvement after 3-4 days, please consult a doctor.Duration of treatment in adults: Back pain and blunt injuries up to 10 days; for knee osteoarthritis, use may be required for up to 3 weeks.For children: Maximum 7 days.

Intake

Apply the medicine to the areas of the body to be treated and massage in carefully.

Patient information

Particular caution is required when using children under 12 years of age as there are no sufficient studies available.Patients with a previous allergic illness should use the medicine in small areas, e.g.B. on the wrist, test for compatibility.If the symptoms do not improve within 3 - 4 days after self-treatment with the medication, you should consult a doctor.Other ingredients may cause localized skin irritation.The medicine should not be applied to open wounds, in the eyes or on mucous membranes.No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.

Application

For use on the skin.Depending on the size of the area of the body to be treated and the severity of the symptoms, adults apply a 6 cm long strand of ointment (corresponding to approx. 2 g of Kytta® Odorless each) three to four times a day. Children aged 12 and over and young people apply a 4 - 6 cm long strand of ointment (corresponding to approx. 1.2 g to 2 g of Kytta® Odorless) two to three times a day, depending on the size of the area of the body to be treated.Apply Kytta® Odorless to the areas of the body to be treated and then massage in carefully.Before applying a bandage, you should wait a few minutes until Kytta® Odorless has absorbed into the skin.The use of an airtight dressing (occlusive dressing) is not recommended.

The duration of use depends on the symptoms and the underlying disease.For acute muscle pain in the back area, sprains, bruises and strains, one application for 10 days is usually sufficient;In the case of knee osteoarthritis, use for up to 3 weeks may be necessary.Do not use for longer than 1 week in children aged 12 and over and adolescents.If the symptoms do not improve within 3 - 4 days or even worsen after self-treatment with Kytta® Odorless, please contact your doctor.
