Instructions for use of the article Burn and Wound Gel Medice Medice burn and wound gel is suitable for treating 1st and 2nd degree burns (blistering), sunburn, abrasions and insect bites. It is applied thinly to the injured skin and dries slowly, creating an air-permeable film that protects the affected areas of skin without affecting the drainage of wound secretions. The gel also has a pleasant cooling effect. Application is recommended for 1st and 2nd degree burns, sunburn, abrasions and insect bites. Medice burn and wound gel should not be used on large areas over a long period of time. It can be used without a wound dressing, but a dressing can be applied over the dried gel if necessary. The gel allows for clean wound conditions as it is permeable to air and moisture. In the case of heavily exuding wound surfaces, the wound should be cleaned with sterile swabs and then treated with Medice burn and wound gel. The duration of application depends on the healing process. The composition of the gel consists of purified water, glycerol 85%, urea, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, sodium monohydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium alginate, laureth-9, benzethonium chloride and potassium sorbate. The Medice burn and wound gel, available in a 25 g tube, has a 3-fold effect: it is cooling, moisture-regulating and promotes healing. It supports the self-healing process and protects the wound like a second skin. It is suitable for the whole family and can also be used on insect bites. Important information: The gel must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. It should not get into the eyes. The application of the gel on the skin should be repeated as needed as soon as the pleasant cooling effect wears off.
