Nasal gel AL is a rhinological agent containing xylometazoline hydrochloride as the active ingredient. It is used to reduce swelling of the nasal mucosa in various types of rhinitis. This includes intermittent runny nose, allergic rhinitis and inflammation of the sinuses and middle ear associated with rhinitis. When using, adults and children from 6 years of age should insert 1 drop into each nostril up to 3 times daily. The duration of use should not exceed 7 days unless ordered by a doctor. After a break of several days, the nasal gel can be used again. In the case of chronic rhinitis, use should only be under medical supervision. Contraindications include hypersensitivity to the ingredients, dry inflammation of the nasal mucosa with bark formation and children under 6 years of age. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use. Possible side effects are irritation of the nose, sneezing and hypersensitivity reactions of the skin. The medicinal product contains 1 mg xylometazoline hydrochloride per gram of gel, as well as other excipients. It should be noted that the medicinal product may cause a blocked nose, and prolonged use of preservatives may cause swelling of the nasal mucosa. The medicinal product should be stored at room temperature and used for a maximum of 6 months after opening.
