WALA Calcea wound and healing cream is an anthroposophical cream that soothes irritated skin and supports the healing process of wounds.It promotes skin regeneration, helps heal superficial wounds and keeps scabs supple to prevent itching.It also relieves skin inflammation.The cream is free of artificial fragrances, colors and preservatives, is well absorbed and does not leave a greasy film.It can be used from infancy.

Area of application

The cream is used for the local treatment of wounds and surface inflammation of the skin.It is also suitable for bedsores (decubitus) and to prevent bedsores (decubitus prophylaxis).

Mode of action

Calcea wound and healing cream supports the skin's ability to regenerate, promotes the healing of superficial wounds and ensures that scabs remain supple to avoid itching.It also relieves skin inflammation.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

The cream contains the following active ingredients: 110 mg echinacea (hom./anthr.), 75 mg marigold pressed juice and 25 mg ethanol 96% (V/V).The following excipients are included: cetostearyl alcohol, emulsifying (type A), corn oil, yellow wax and purified water.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients or excipients or to other composite plants.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, the cream is applied thinly 2 to 3 times a day to the skin to be protected, the diseased skin areas or wound areas.The cream should not be used for longer than 1 week without medical advice.

Intake

The cream is gently massaged into the intact skin.

Pregnancy

There are no data on use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Like all medicines, the preparation should only be used during pregnancy after consulting your doctor.The medicine should not be used in the breast area during breastfeeding.

Notes

The cream is also suitable for pregnant women (after consulting a doctor), breastfeeding women (do not use on the breast area), infants and children.No prescription is required for this product.

The cream contains cetostearyl alcohol.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Other

If you have large or purulent wounds, you should consult your doctor.When applied to open wounds or mucous membranes, a brief burning sensation may occur.
