WALA Calcea wound and healing cream is an anthroposophical cream that soothes irritated skin and supports the healing process of wounds.It promotes skin regeneration, helps heal superficial wounds, keeps scabs supple and prevents unpleasant itching.It also relieves skin inflammation.The cream is free of artificial fragrances, colors and preservatives, is well absorbed and does not leave a greasy film.It is suitable from infancy.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Calcea wound and healing cream contains the following active ingredients:

110 mg Echinacea (homeopathic/anthroposophical), 75 mg marigold pressed juice, 25 mg ethanol 96% (V/V).Excipients include cetostearyl alcohol (emulsifying, type A), corn oil, yellow wax and purified water.

Areas of application

The cream is used according to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature for the local treatment of wounds and surface inflammation of the skin.It is also suitable for bedsores (decubitus) and to prevent bedsores (decubitus prophylaxis).

Application

The cream should be applied thinly 2 to 3 times a day to the skin to be protected, the diseased skin areas or wound areas.If the skin is intact, it can be easily massaged in.It should not be used for longer than 1 week without medical advice.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients or excipients or to other composite plants.

Patient information

In the case of large or purulently infected wounds, you should consult your doctor.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor or pharmacist.The cream should not be applied to the breast area while breastfeeding.

Notes

The cream contains cetostearyl alcohol and ethanol (alcohol).Cetylstearyl alcohol can cause localized skin irritation.If the skin is damaged, ethanol can cause a burning sensation.No prescription is required for this product.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.

Other

When applied to open wounds or mucous membranes, a brief burning sensation may occur due to the alcohol content.
