WALA Calcea wound and healing cream is an anthroposophical cream that soothes irritated skin and supports the healing process of wounds.It is suitable for infants, children and adults and is well absorbed without being greasy.The product is free of artificial fragrances, colors and preservatives.

Areas of application

The cream is used according to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature for the local treatment of wounds and surface inflammation of the skin.It is also suitable for bedsores (decubitus) and to prevent bedsores (decubitus prophylaxis).

Mode of action

Calcea wound and healing cream supports the skin's ability to regenerate, promotes the healing of superficial wounds and ensures that scabs remain supple to avoid unpleasant itching.It also relieves skin inflammation.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The cream contains the following active ingredients: a mixture of Calendula ex herba flor.Pressed juice and ethanol 96% (1:0.33) as well as echinacea.Other ingredients include emulsifying cetostearyl alcohol (Type A), ethanol 96%, refined corn oil, yellow wax and purified water.

Contraindications

The medicine should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients or excipients or to other composite plants.

Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed, the cream is applied thinly 2 to 3 times a day to the skin to be protected, the diseased skin areas or wound areas.The cream should be lightly massaged into intact skin.The medicine should not be used for longer than 1 week without medical advice.

In the case of large or purulently infected wounds, you should consult your doctor.When applied to open wounds or mucous membranes, a brief burning sensation may occur due to the alcohol content.
