Panthenol cream LAW, 5% is an agent to support wound healing. It is used to treat superficial light skin and mucous membrane damage. The cream contains the active ingredient dexpanthenol, which is converted into pantothenic acid and accelerates the regeneration of the skin. Panthenol cream LAW should be applied thinly to the affected skin areas once or several times a day. The duration of treatment depends on the type and course of the disease. No overdose symptoms are known. In case of pregnancy and breastfeeding, the application should be discussed with a doctor. The cream must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Side effects are usually rare. The cream contains dexpanthenol, methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and other ingredients. It should not be used on infants and young children. The cream is vegan and can also be used for tattoo aftercare. Hands should be washed before application. When applied to the genital or anal area, condom safety may be compromised.
