Panthenol spray is a remedy to support wound healing. It is used for the treatment of skin and mucous membrane damage such as cuts and abrasions, minor burns and scalds, minor sunburn, nappy dermatitis as well as reddened and brittle skin. The active ingredient dexpanthenol accelerates the regeneration of skin cells and promotes the regrowth of healthy skin. The spray is pleasant on the skin, absorbs quickly and contains no preservatives or perfumes. It can also be used on babies and small children. Before use, the wounds should be cleaned and disinfected if necessary. In the case of abrasions, it is important to remove impurities to avoid infections. Panthenol Spray contains 4.63 g dexpanthenol per 100 g and other excipients. It is recommended to hold the spray vertically with the valve facing upwards and to shake well before each use. In the facial area, the spray should not be sprayed on directly, but should be sprayed onto the hand and applied to the affected area of the face. The duration of application depends on the type of symptoms and the course of the disease. An overdose is unlikely if used as directed. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any questions about the application or if there are any undesirable effects. The panthenol spray should be stored at room temperature (not above 25 °C) and must be kept out of the reach of children. It must not be used after the expiry date on the packaging.
