Natucor 450 mg is a herbal medicinal product used in cases of declining cardiac performance according to stage II to NYHA . It contains the active substance hawthorn leaves with dry flower extract. The film-coated tablets should be taken unchewed with sufficient liquid. The recommended dose for adolescents aged 12 years and over and adults is 1 tablet 2 times a day. The duration of use should be at least 6 weeks and can be individually determined by the doctor. Mild gastrointestinal discomfort may occasionally occur and rarely hypersensitivity reactions such as itching, skin rash and hives may occur. The medicinal product must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to hawthorn leaves with flowers or any of the other ingredients. The medicinal product should not be used during pregnancy and breast-feeding. It contains glucose and lactose, therefore persons with an intolerance to certain sugars should consult a doctor before taking it. The medicinal product should be stored away from heat.
