Kytta-Sedativum® for the day is a herbal medicine for use in nervous restlessness.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

1 coated tablet contains 425 mg dry extract of passion flower herb (5-7:1), extractant ethanol 50% (V/V).Other ingredients are maltodextrin, colloidal silicon dioxide, cellulose powder, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, talc, sucrose (sucrose), calcium carbonate, arabic gum, tragacanth, glucose syrup, hypromellose, bleached wax, carnauba wax, shellac (bleached and dewaxed (Ph. Eur.)), titanium dioxide and iron(III)hydroxide-oxide x H2O.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to passion flower herb dry extract or any of the other ingredients of the medicine.

Dosage

Always take the medicine exactly as directed.Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose for adolescents aged 12 and over and adults is 1 tablet 2 to 3 times a day.

The duration of use is not limited in principle.If your symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks or worsen, you should definitely see a doctor.Please talk to your doctor if you think the effect is too strong or too weak.

If you have taken more than you should, if you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor so that he or she can decide what to do next.An accidental, minor overdose (taking 2 - 3 tablets of this drug) usually does not have any adverse consequences.However, please inform a doctor about the overdose.

Do not take a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose.Continue taking it at the next regular time or as directed by your doctor.

Intake

To be taken.Take the tablet with sufficient liquid (preferably 1 glass of drinking water) and without chewing.The tablets should be taken evenly throughout the day.

Patient information

Take special care when taking it if your symptoms last longer than 2 weeks or worsen.There are no sufficient studies available for use in children.The medicine should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.

Medicines with a sedative effect can fundamentally alter the ability to react to such an extent that the ability to actively participate in road traffic or operate machines is impaired.This also applies if you take the medicine as directed.This applies to an even greater extent when combined with alcohol.

Pregnancy

Before taking any medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacy for advice.To date, there has been no evidence of risks during pregnancy and breastfeeding from the use of passion flower herb as a medicine.However, the results of special studies (experimental studies) are not available.The medicine should therefore not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Notes

If symptoms worsen or last longer than 2 weeks, you should consult a doctor.Taking the medicine can change your ability to react in such a way that the ability to actively participate in traffic, operate machines or work without stopping is impaired.This is especially true when combined with alcohol.

This medicine contains glucose and sucrose (sucrose).Please only take Kytta-Sedativum® for the day after consulting your doctor if you know that you suffer from an intolerance to certain sugars.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
