Information for use of the article KOHLE TABLETS: - KOHLE Tablets contain the active ingredient charcoal, medicinal. - The medicine is used to treat diarrhoea, especially acute diarrhoea, and to prevent the absorption and accelerate the excretion of toxins in poisoning. - The dosage for children is 1-2 tablets 3-4 times daily, for adults 2-4 tablets 3-4 times daily. The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist. - The medicine should be taken with liquid. In case of poisoning, it should only be used by or under the supervision of specialised personnel. - The duration of use should not exceed 2-3 days without medical advice in case of diarrhoea. In cases of poisoning, the doctor determines the duration of use. - No overdose symptoms are known, but the dosage should be conscientiously observed, especially in infants, small children and the elderly. - The medicinal product must not be used in cases of poisoning with corrosive substances (strong acids and alkalis) and in fever. - No side effects are known in the recommended dosages. In case of adverse effects, a doctor or pharmacist should be contacted. - The medicinal product contains medicinal charcoal and various excipients as its composition. - Medicinal charcoal binds dissolved particles such as toxins or bacteria and is excreted in the stool. - Additional contraceptive measures should be taken during the use of the medicinal product. There may be interactions with other medicines, so any medicines already in use should be reported to the doctor or pharmacist before treatment. - The medicinal product should be allowed to dissolve in plenty of liquid before taking. - If poisoning is suspected, a doctor or the emergency services should be informed immediately.
