Cosmopor sterile is a self-adhesive wound dressing for post-operative wound care and treatment of minor injuries. It consists of a soft non-woven backing and a 100 % cotton wound pad. The dressing provides protection against germs and reduces mechanical irritation of the wound. The highly absorbent wound pad absorbs wound secretions without sticking to the wound. Cosmopor sterile enables natural wound healing. It is suitable for patients with sensitive skin and is individually sterile packed. The wound dressing is soft, breathable and skin-friendly. However, a hypersensitivity reaction of the skin may occur. Cosmopor sterile is applied to cleansed and disinfected skin and changed as needed or according to the doctor's instructions.
