Instructions for use for ARTELAC Eye drops, 3X10 ml

Artelac eye drops are used to treat dry eyes and to moisten hard contact lenses while they are worn. The medicine contains the active substance hypromellose. It is recommended to drop one drop into the conjunctival sac 3-5 times a day. Soft contact lenses should be removed before use and not reinserted until 15 minutes afterwards. Hard contact lenses may remain in the eye during application. The medicinal product should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. During pregnancy and lactation, a doctor should be consulted before use. Possible side effects are rare and may cause a disturbance of well-being. The composition of the medicinal product consists of hypromellose and various excipients. Hypromellose acts as an artificial tear fluid to moisten the corneal surface. There are no known interactions with other medicinal products. The medicinal product should be stored out of reach of children and below 30 °C. It should not be used after the expiry date.
