Summary: Kreon 25000 is a medicine used to treat digestive disorders due to insufficient function of the pancreas (exocrine pancreatic insufficiency) and in cystic fibrosis. It contains a mixture of enzymes called pancreatic powder that aids digestion. The capsules contain enteric-coated pellets that slowly release the pancreatic powder. The dosage depends on the severity of the disease. Take during or after a meal and the capsules should not be chewed or broken. Possible side effects include abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting and rarely allergic reactions.
