Instructions for use for SOVENTOL Hydrocort 0.5% cream, 30 g

Soventol Hydrocort 0.5% cream is used to treat various skin conditions that respond to treatment with corticosteroids. These include inflammatory, allergic or itchy dermatoses such as skin inflammation and eczema. The cream contains the active ingredient hydrocortisone and has an anti-inflammatory, anti-itching and regenerating effect on damaged skin. Soventol Hydrocort 0.5% cream can also be used on dry skin because it contains a moisturising formula. It can be used on children from the age of six. The cream is applied thinly to the affected skin areas and should be used two to three times a day. If the symptoms improve, once-daily application is often sufficient. Hands should be washed thoroughly before application and contact with eyes, mucous membranes and open skin areas should be avoided. The duration of use should not exceed two weeks and a doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist or recur. The cream is not suitable in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients and certain skin infections. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before use.
