Soventol Hydrocortisone Acetate 0.5% cream is used for the treatment of moderately pronounced, red, inflammatory or allergic skin conditions. The cream contains the active substance hydrocortisone acetate, which has an anti-inflammatory effect. It should not be used on children under 6 years of age without a doctor's prescription. Soventol offers effective help for particularly pronounced complaints such as sun allergy, sunburn, mild skin inflammation and severe itching. The cremogel contains a higher dosage of 0.5% hydrocortisone acetate and has a cooling effect. It is quickly absorbed into the skin, is well tolerated and can also be used under make-up. The cream is applied thinly to the affected areas of the skin 2-3 times a day. A slight burning sensation may occur after application, but this disappears. It should not be used for more than 14 days without a doctor's prescription. Soventol should not be applied to open wounds, in the eye or near the mouth. It is also not suitable for long-term use on large areas of skin irritation during pregnancy and in the breast area during breastfeeding. If symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.
