Dolormin pain relief tablets with ibuprofen are used to relieve mild to moderately severe pain and fever. The active ingredient ibuprofen has an analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory effect. The tablets contain 200 mg ibuprofen in the form of ibuprofen-DL-lysine. They are suitable for children from 6 years of age, adolescents and adults. The dosage depends on the body weight. The maximum daily dose is 1200 mg of ibuprofen. They are taken unchewed with sufficient liquid. Long-term use should not be for more than 4 days without medical advice. The package leaflet should be read before taking the medicine and the doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are any questions. The medicine must not be taken in case of hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, stomach or intestinal ulcers, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, severe heart conditions or in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Taking Dolormin Pain Relieving Tablets may cause side effects such as skin reactions, bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract or effects on the cardiovascular system. Pregnant women should only take the medicine after consulting their doctor. During breast-feeding, larger amounts of the active ingredient are present in breast milk, so early cessation of breast-feeding should be considered in case of prolonged use. Medical advice should also be sought before use during pregnancy and lactation. The maximum daily dose should not be exceeded and the medicine should be discontinued if severe pain in the upper abdomen, blood in the stool or vomiting of blood occurs.
