The drops contain 40 mg of ivy leaf extract, prepared using an extraction solvent consisting of 50% (v/v) ethanol and propylene glycol in a 98:2 ratio.Excipients include glycerol, propylene glycol, eucalyptus oil, levomenthol, peppermint oil, and star anise oil.

Contraindications

Do not take this medicine if you are hypersensitive to ivy leaves or any of the other ingredients.It should not be used in cases of argininosuccinate synthetase deficiency, in infants and children under 2 years of age, or in patients with bronchial asthma or other respiratory diseases associated with marked airway hypersensitivity.Inhalation of menthol, peppermint flavoring, or eucalyptus oil may lead to shortness of breath or trigger an asthma attack.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as instructed.Please consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.The usual dose for adults and children over 10 years of age is 31 drops, 3 times daily.Children aged 4 to 10 years should take 21 drops 3 times daily, and children aged 2 to 4 years should take 16 drops 3 times daily.
