Instructions for use for HEDELIX s.a. Oral drops, 50 ml

Dosage and application instructions

For adults and children over 10 years: 31 drops 3 times daily. For children aged 4-10 years: 21 drops 3 times a day. For children aged 2-4 years: 16 drops 3 times a day. The medicine should be taken undiluted and followed with sufficient liquid. The duration of use should not exceed a few days.

Contraindications

The medicinal product must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, hereditary metabolic disorder (argininosuccinate synthetase deficiency) and in infants and young children under 2 years of age.

Side effects

Possible side effects are gastrointestinal complaints. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if any disturbances or changes occur during treatment.

Composition

The medicinal product contains ivy leaf extract (40 mg), propylene glycol, glycerol, star anise oil, eucalyptus oil, levomenthol and spearmint flavouring.

Mode of action

The ingredients come from the ivy plant and act as a natural mixture. They can loosen stuck secretions in the respiratory tract and thus facilitate expectoration.

Storage

The medicinal product should be kept out of reach of children and should be used for a maximum of 6 months after opening/preparation. It must be stored at room temperature.
