Summary: Lacteol capsules contain freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria and are used to treat diarrhoea of non-organic origin. The capsules can be taken by adults, children and infants. It is recommended to read the package leaflet carefully and to follow the dosage recommendations of the doctor or pharmacist. Important notes are that the medicine must not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients and that it must be stored away from heat and moisture. Side effects are not known so far. In case of pregnancy and lactation, medical advice should be sought before use. It should be noted that the medicinal product contains lactose and that caution is advised in case of intolerance to lactose. Adequate fluid intake should be ensured before use. If symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted. Do not exceed the maximum recommended dosage. The pack sizes are available in 10 or 30 hard capsules.
