It is used for magnesium deficiency when this causes disturbances in muscle activity and oral therapy is not possible. Cormagnesin 400 is also used for the treatment of pre-eclampsia and eclampsia. The recommended dose is one ampoule of Cormagnesin 400 to be injected slowly intravenously. The dosage depends on the severity of the magnesium deficit and can be adjusted by the doctor. The application should only be carried out by specialised personnel. The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor and is based on the improvement of the symptoms. Cormagnesin 400 should be kept out of reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date.
