Instructions for use of the article Magnesium Diasporal 4 mmol Ampoules Magnesium Diasporal 4 mmol is a mineral preparation and is used in cases of magnesium deficiency which is the cause of muscle activity disorders (neuromuscular disorders, calf cramps). It is also used to treat pregnancy-related high blood pressure, cramps and premature births. The dosage is determined by the doctor and can be administered intramuscularly or intravenously. In the event of an overdose, symptoms such as muscle weakness, drop in blood pressure and heart rate, skin perfusion and EKG-changes occur. In this case, a doctor should be consulted immediately. The use is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, AV-block, excitation conduction disorders of the heart, nervous disorders, impaired kidney function, dehydration and other diseases. Possible side effects include slow pulse, drop in blood pressure, vomiting, headache and dizziness. Magnesium Diasporal 4 mmol ampoules contain magnesium sulphate-7-water as the medicinally active ingredient.
