Heparin AL Gel 30,000
Heparin AL Gel 30,000 is used as a supportive treatment for acute swelling following blunt sports injuries. It helps treat sports and accidental injuries, especially bruises caused by bruises, sprains or strains. The gel has a decongestant and cooling effect.
No prescription is required for this product.
Support for acute swelling after sports and accident injuries
Injuries from falls or collisions are common in households with children.Regular exercise also increases the risk of sprains, strains, bruises, bruises and bruises. These injuries are often accompanied by painful swelling, redness and warmth, which indicate a local inflammatory reaction. In such cases, cold is often perceived as pleasant.
Heparin AL Gel 30,000 can be used for bruises as it can break down clotted blood. The gel is applied to the affected area of skin and has an additional cooling effect due to the evaporation of the water content. The injury usually heals after two to three weeks, in mild cases even after a few days.
Stimulates blood circulation and cools
The active ingredient heparin sodium has blood-thinning and anticoagulant properties. It helps break down blood clots, reducing bruising more quickly. The gel also offers a pleasant cooling effect, which is caused by the evaporation of the water on the skin.
Application recommendation
Unless otherwise prescribed, Heparin AL Gel 30,000 should be applied thinly and evenly to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day.The gel must not be used for longer than 10 days. The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.Care must be taken to ensure careful dosage, especially for infants, small children and older people.Once opened, the gel has a shelf life of 6 months.
Sports injuries
Athletes risk injury, especially if they skip warming up and stretching.Sports with direct contact with opponents, such as football, regularly result in bruises or bruises due to collisions.Sports that involve rapid changes of direction, braking and acceleration, such as squash, strain muscles, ligaments and tendons, which increases the risk of injury.
Accidents in everyday life
Even in everyday life, you can quickly get a bruise and painful swelling. If, for example, a superficial blood vessel tears during a fall from a bicycle or a collision while playing, the typical “bruise” occurs.
Immediate action: PECH-Rule
The risk of injuring yourself while playing sports increases depending on the sport.Swelling with bruising such as sprains and strains is not uncommon. As an immediate measure, it is recommended to take a break, cool the swelling with ice and, if necessary, apply a compression bandage. In the case of severe swelling, elevating the affected part of the body also reduces the swelling (PECH-rule).Heparin AL Gel 30,000 can also support the treatment of acute swelling.
