Area of application

Vidisan® EDO® eye drops contain a valuable extract from the eyebright (Euphrasia) plant.This extract has a soothing effect on irritated eyes after the first application, without the body getting used to it.The eye drops moisten the surface of the eye, strengthen the tear film and offer protection against external influences.This soothes irritated eyes and quickly relieves symptoms such as burning, itching, sensitivity to light and tears.

Mode of action

Vidisan® EDO® eye drops contain the extract of the eyebright plant.Thanks to this extract, they are suitable for long-term use and relieve irritation caused by air pollution, drafts and smoke.Eyebright extract has been used in natural medicine for centuries to treat irritated eyes.

The main active ingredients of Vidisan® EDO® eye drops are povidone and eyebright extract.Other ingredients include sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, water for injections and boric acid.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, this product should not be used.

Dosage

Vidisan® EDO® eye drops are easy and safe to use.Disconnect a single-dose ophtiol (EDO®) from the bar and twist off the cap.Tilt your head back slightly and hold the EDO® over your eye.Use the index finger of your free hand to pull the lower eyelid slightly downwards and hold the EDO® vertically over the eye.Avoid touching the EDO® tip with your fingers or eyes.Squeeze the EDO® together so that a drop comes out.Then close your eye and slowly move it back and forth to distribute the drop evenly.

No prescription is required for this product.Vidisan® EDO® eye drops are free of alcoholic additives and preservatives, very well tolerated and suitable for long-term use.They are available in convenient one-dose ophtiols for on-the-go use.

Additional tips for irritated eyes

Make sure you drink enough fluids (at least 2 liters per day) and get enough sleep.Avoid cigarette smoke and only use low-irritant cosmetics.Protect your eyes by wearing appropriate eyewear (sunglasses, swimming goggles, ski goggles) and avoid directing fans in a car or plane at your eyes.Have regular check-ups with an ophthalmologist.

Storage

Vidisan® EDO® eye drops should be stored away from sunlight.

Contact lenses

Take the lenses out before using the eye drops and only put them back in after about 15 minutes.
