OMNIFLORA® N contains specially selected lactic acid bacteria in high doses.The bacterial strains Lactobacillus gasseri and Bifidobacterium longum occur naturally in the human body and colonize in the intestines to restore the natural balance.One hard capsule contains:

25 mg lyophilisate from Lactobacillus gasseri, corresponding to 8 x 108 to 8 x 109 KBE/g (corresponding to 2 x 107 to 2 x 108 KBE/capsule) with remaining culture medium.25 mg lyophilisate from Bifidobacterium longum, corresponding to 8 x 108 to 8 x 109 KBE/g (corresponding to 2 x 107 to 2 x 108 KBE/capsule) with remaining culture medium.

Application

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults take one hard capsule three times a day.For acute intestinal problems, two hard capsules can be taken up to three times a day.After the symptoms have subsided, a maintenance dose of one hard capsule daily is recommended.

For small children aged 1 to 2 years, it is necessary to consult a doctor before use.Unless otherwise prescribed, children from the age of one will receive one hard capsule once or twice daily.If the child's condition does not improve or worsens, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

The hard capsules should be taken whole with a little liquid with meals.For administration to small children, the hard capsule should be opened and the contents added to a small amount of lukewarm liquid or porridge.The mixture should be taken immediately.

The duration of taking OMNIFLORA® N is not limited.If acute diarrhea does not improve within two days or if the symptoms worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Notes

OMNIFLORA® N contains lactose, sucrose and sodium compounds.This medicine contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per hard capsule, i.e. it is almost “sodium-free”.No prescription is required for this product.
