OMNIFLORA® N contains specially selected lactic acid bacteria in high doses.The bacterial strains Lactobacillus gasseri and Bifidobacterium longum occur naturally in the human body and help restore the natural balance in the intestines.One hard capsule contains 25 mg lyophilisate from Lactobacillus gasseri and 25 mg lyophilisate from Bifidobacterium longum.

Dosage

Adults take 1 hard capsule 3 times daily.For acute intestinal problems, 2 hard capsules can be taken up to 3 times a day.After the symptoms have subsided, a maintenance dose of 1 hard capsule daily is recommended.

For small children aged 1 - 2 years, it is necessary to consult a doctor before use.Unless otherwise prescribed, children from the age of 1 should receive 1 hard capsule 1-2 times a day.If the child's condition does not improve or if it worsens, seek medical advice immediately.

The hard capsules should be taken whole with a little liquid with meals.For administration to small children, the hard capsule should be opened and the contents added to a small amount of lukewarm liquid or porridge.The mixture should be taken immediately.

Pregnancy

Before taking/using any medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding.To date, no evidence of risks has emerged from the widespread use of Lactobacillus gasseri and Bifidobacterium longum as medicines or in foods;However, due to insufficient examinations, taking the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Notes

Contains lactose and sucrose.Contains sodium compounds. This medicine contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per hard capsule, i.e. it is almost “sodium-free”.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
