Area of application

Hyabak eye drops are ideal for moistening and lubricating the eyes, especially for environmental complaints such as dry eyes, foreign body sensation and burning.Such symptoms can be caused by air-conditioned rooms, fatigue or long periods of screen time.Because there are no preservatives, the eye drops are particularly well tolerated and are ideal for contact lens wearers.

Mode of action

Hyabak eye drops contain sodium hyaluronate, the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid.This endogenous substance forms a stable and long-lasting film of moisture on the surface of the eye.This provides the eye with intensive and lasting moisture.Thanks to a special antibacterial membrane system in the ABAK® multi-dose bottle, the eye drops do not contain any preservatives and are therefore well tolerated even with long-term use.

The ingredients of Hyabak eye drops include sodium hyaluronate (0.15%), sodium chloride, actinoquinol, trometamol, HCl and water for injections.The solution is sterile, phosphate-free, hypotonic and pH-neutral.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

The eye drops should be dosed individually depending on the user's condition and the recommendations of the ophthalmologist or contact lens specialist.In general, it is recommended to instill 1 drop in the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times a day.If the symptoms are more severe, the drops can be used more often a day.

Application

No special training is required to use Hyabak.Wash your hands thoroughly before use and do not use any tools to open the bottle.Screw the cap back onto the bottle after use.To moisten and lubricate the eye, place 1 drop in each eye as needed throughout the day.Gently pull the lower eyelid down, look up and place a drop into the conjunctival sac.Close the eye gently after application.To lubricate and moisten contact lenses, apply 1 drop to each lens when inserting and removing lenses and as needed throughout the day.

Hyabak eye drops are a sterile, phosphate-free, hypotonic and pH-neutral solution.The solution is supplied in the ABAK® multi-dose bottle, which, thanks to a 0.2 µm filter, prevents any bacterial contamination of the solution without the use of preservatives.Hyabak is gentle on the eyes as it is free of preservatives and therefore protects the eye tissue.The product is also well tolerated by users who are sensitive to preservatives.It is suitable for adults and wearers of all types of contact lenses.No prescription is required for this product.

Notes

The ABAKbottle (10 ml) contains approximately 300 drops, which can be easily removed from the soft squeeze bottle.After opening, the product can be used for 3 months.
