Area of application

Hyabak eye drops are a solution for moistening and lubricating eyes and contact lenses.They help with dry eyes that can be caused by various external influences such as wind, smoke, air pollution, dust, dry heat, air conditioning, long periods of screen work or air travel.Contact lens wearers can also use Hyabak to make inserting and removing lenses easier.

Mode of action

Dry eyes can have a variety of causes, from room heating to wearing contact lenses to long periods of computer time.Hyabak eye drops are particularly viscous and help maintain the tear film.They promote the recovery and regeneration of the horny and conjunctival cells.Since the eye drops are free of preservatives, they are particularly gentle on the eyes and well tolerated, even by people with sensitive eyes.

Hyabak eye drops contain sodium hyaluronate (0.15%), sodium chloride, actinoquinol, trometamol, hydrochloric acid for pH adjustment and water for injection purposes.The solution is sterile, phosphate-free, hypotonic and pH-neutral.It is supplied in a ABAK® multi-dose bottle equipped with a 0.2 µm filter to prevent bacterial contamination without preservatives.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, Hyabak should not be used.

Dosage

If necessary, you can put a drop in each eye to moisten and lubricate the eye.To do this, gently pull the lower eyelid down, look up and put a drop into the conjunctival sac.Close the eye gently after application.For contact lens wearers, you can place a drop on each lens when inserting and removing it, and as needed during wear.No prescription is required for this product.

Notes

Wash your hands thoroughly before use.Do not use any aids to open the bottle.Screw the cap back onto the bottle after use.Avoid any direct contact of the dropper tip with the eye.Keep the product out of the reach of children.

Additional information

Hyabak is intended for adults only and can be used by wearers of all types of contact lenses.In rare cases, slight eye irritation may occur.
