Package leaflet for article AKNEFUG-OXID MILD 3%: - Acnefug Oxide Mild 3% Gel contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide and is used to treat acne. - It should not be used on eye and mucous membranes, the area around the mouth, nose and corners of the eyes, or on eroded skin. - It should be used carefully on dry and sebostatic skin. - The gel is applied 1-2 times a day to the affected areas of the skin. It should be washed thoroughly with the hands to avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes or the areas of the mouth, nose and corner of the eyes. - The application period is at least 4 weeks. In case of accidental ingestion, a doctor should be consulted as stomach pain, nausea and vomiting may occur. - Possible side effects are dehydration, scaling, burning, itching and reddening of the skin at the site of application. If symptoms occur, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. - Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. - The gel should be stored in the refrigerator and used for a maximum of 12 months after opening.
