Antifungol HEXAL cream is a medicinal product for the treatment of fungal diseases of the skin. It contains the active substance clotrimazole and is effective against dermatophytes, yeasts, moulds and other fungi. It is used for the treatment of fungal infections of the skin, athlete's foot, fungal infections between the toes or fingers, nail circulation, skin lichen caused by lesser fungus and dwarf lichen. The cream should be applied thinly to the affected areas of the skin, 2 to 3 times a day. The duration of treatment is usually 4 weeks. Possible side effects are skin irritation, itching, redness and allergic reactions. The medicine is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients and during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
