Directions for use of the article Calcium Dura Vit D3 Film-Coated Tablets Calcium Dura Vit D3 Film-Coated Tablets contain calcium carbonate and colecalciferol (vitamin D3) and are used to prevent and treat calcium and vitamin D deficiency in the elderly and to support specific therapy for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. Before taking them, certain contraindications should be taken into account, such as hypersensitivity to the active substances, hypercalcaemia (increased calcium content of the blood), hypercalciuria (increased calcium content of the urine) or renal dysfunction. Careful monitoring of serum and urinary calcium levels is required, especially in elderly patients or in concomitant treatment with cardiac glycosides and diuretics. Dosage and directions for use include taking 1-2 film-coated tablets daily before a meal. The duration of use should be discussed with a doctor.
